Brand Radar configuration

The connector guides you through choosing one of two ways to configure your brand data.

Brand source

Use an existing Brand Radar report

This is the recommended option. Select a report from your workspace, and the connector will use its brands, competitors, and other settings.

You can refresh the reports list in the configuration menu if you add or remove reports in your Ahrefs dashboard.

Enter brands manually

Use this option for simple brand-name matching. Enter at least one brand or competitor as a comma-separated list.

Examples: ahrefs, nike,adidas

Manual configuration does not support custom tracked prompts or Brand Radar's full entity-matching and citation configuration. Use an existing Brand Radar report when you need those features.

Additional settings

Country

Optional (default: All countries)

The country from which to retrieve data. When using an existing report, this setting overrides the country configured in the report.

Dataset

Optional (default: Both)

When using an existing Brand Radar report, choose whether to fetch data from Ahrefs' prompts, your custom tracked prompts, or both. Manual configurations always use Ahrefs' prompts.

Filters

All filters are optional. When using an existing report, filters configured in the connector override the corresponding report filters.

Prompt Contains

Optional (default: none)

Filter to responses where the prompt contains the given text.

Response Contains

Optional (default: none)

Filter to responses where the response contains the given text.

Cited Domain

Optional (default: none)

Filter to responses that cite the given exact domain.

Cited Domain Contains

Optional (default: none)

Filter to responses that cite a domain containing the given text.

Cited Url Contains

Optional (default: none)

Filter to responses that cite a URL containing the given text.
