How to manage your integrations
Ahrefs Connect is available on Ahrefs paid plans (Lite, Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise). When a third-party app makes an API call to retrieve Ahrefs data on your behalf, it uses API units from your monthly allowance. You can check your current usage and remaining units in Account settings → Limits and usage.

Connecting an app
When you connect your Ahrefs account to a third-party app, you’ll see an authorization consent screen. Once approved, the app will appear in your account with an API key created specifically for it.
- These keys are labeled "Integration app" and include the name of the app in their scope.
- Workspace admins can set a maximum monthly API unit limit for each key, ensuring the app can’t exceed this usage.

Managing and removing apps
All connected apps appear in the Applications section of your Account settings. Workspace admins can revoke access from here at any time.

Note on the legacy Integrations program
Ahrefs Connect is our new integration system, built on API v3. We still have active apps using our legacy API v2.
- Legacy apps work as before for now and consume legacy Integration units.
- These will be deprecated in the future, and we’re working with developers to migrate their apps before the deadline.
